Latvia will start exchanging laboratory data with other EU states
The Latvian Digital Health Centre, in cooperation with the National Health Service, is implementing the project “Exchange of laboratory data of Latvian patients”, the aim of which is to launch a new E-health service; the cross-border exchange of laboratory test results within the European Union (EU).
Latvia is set to begin sharing patient laboratory data with other European Union member states. This initiative is being led by the Latvian Digital Health Centre in collaboration with the National Health Service. The project aims to establish a new e-health service that will facilitate the cross-border exchange of laboratory test results.
This development will improve healthcare coordination and patient care across the EU by enabling seamless access to vital health information.
