নিয়োগের ২৩ দিনের মাথায় জামালপুরে উপাচার্যকে অব্যাহতি
জামালপুর বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ২৩ দিনের মাথায় উপাচার্য পদে পরিবর্তন এসেছে। গত ১৪ মে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক মোহাম্মদ আমির হোসেন ভূঁইয়াকে গুরুতর অভিযোগের জেরে অব্যাহতি দিয়ে মূল পদে ফেরত পাঠানো হয়েছে। তাঁর স্থলাভিষিক্ত হয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক মো. আমির হোসেন। আজ শনিবার শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের প্রজ্ঞাপনে চার বছরের জন্য নতুন নিয়োগের ঘোষণা দেওয়া হয়।
Jamalpur University of Science and Technology has seen a change in its Vice-Chancellor position within just 23 days of appointment. Professor Mohammad Amir Hossain Bhuiyan from Jahangirnagar University, who was appointed on May 14th, has been removed from his post due to serious allegations and has been sent back to his original position. Professor Md. Amir Hossain from Bangladesh Agricultural University has been appointed as his successor. The Ministry of Education announced the new four-year appointment through a notification on Saturday.
This rapid change in leadership raises questions about the selection process and stability at the newly established university.
