A Rohingya youth, identified as Mohammad Ayub, sustained gunshot wounds in the Naf River within Myanmar's territory. He had reportedly crossed the border to fish and was allegedly fired upon by members of the Arakan Army. After being shot, Ayub managed to swim across the Naf River and reach the Bangladeshi border. Local residents and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) assisted in his rescue and he was admitted to a hospital in Ukhia.

This incident highlights ongoing security concerns and potential cross-border violence involving armed groups in the region, impacting the safety of individuals near the Myanmar-Bangladesh border.
