Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has stated that India will work collaboratively with Nepal to maintain security in areas with open borders. This commitment was made during a meeting with a Nepali delegation led by Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal in New Delhi. The discussions also explored opportunities for cooperation in emerging sectors such as startups, artificial intelligence, information technology, and renewable energy.

This collaboration aims to enhance border security and foster technological and economic partnerships between the two neighboring countries.
