Meanwhile, parts of the state are experiencing extreme heat, with Pedaparupudi in Krishna district and Kanigiri in Markapuram district recording the highest temperatures at 44 degrees Celsius. A heatwave alert has been issued for the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh for June 7th and 8th.
