The popular 1998 film 'Hothat Brishti' is getting a remake titled 'Abar Hothat Brishti,' directed by Kamruzzaman. The new film features a fresh lead pair, Aryan Sarowar and Radifa Narmin, stepping into the roles originally played by Ferdous and Priyanka Trivedi. Filming concluded three months ago, and the movie has received clearance from the certification board. The filmmakers aim for a release during the upcoming Durga Puja festival, adapting the story for contemporary audiences. Aryan Sarowar, in his first leading role, stated he studied the original performance without imitating it. The original film was a successful joint production between Bangladesh and India.

The remake of a beloved classic film offers a new generation a chance to experience the story while potentially revisiting nostalgic themes for older audiences.
