নোয়াখালীতে বিএনপি–আওয়ামী লীগের সংঘর্ষ, মোটরসাইকেল ও কার্যালয়ে আগুন, ভাঙচুর
নোয়াখালী সদর উপজেলায় বিএনপি ও কার্যক্রম নিষিদ্ধ আওয়ামী লীগের নেতা-কর্মীদের মধ্যে পাল্টাপাল্টি হামলা ও সংঘর্ষের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। এ সময় আওয়ামী লীগের একটি অফিস ঘর ও বিএনপি কর্মীদের একটি মোটরসাইকেলে অগ্নিসংযোগের ঘটনা ঘটে। আজ শনিবার বিকেল চারটা থেকে সন্ধ্যা সাতটা পর্যন্ত উপজেলার কালাদরাপ ইউনিয়নের পশ্চিম শুল্লকিয়া গ্রামে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। পাল্টাপাল্টি হামলার ঘটনা চলাকালে আওয়ামী লীগের সমর্থক ও ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান শাহদাত উল্যাহ সেলিমের বাড়ি এবং ছাত্রদল কর্মীদের পাঁচটি মোটরসাইকেল ভাঙচুর করা হয়। সংঘর
A violent clash erupted between supporters of the Awami League and the BNP in the West Shullkia village of Kaladara Union, Noakhali Sadar Upazila. The conflict, which lasted for three hours on Saturday afternoon, resulted in arson and vandalism. An Awami League office and a BNP supporter's motorcycle were set ablaze, while five other motorcycles belonging to student wing activists were damaged. At least ten individuals, including local UP Chairman Shahadat Ullah and a BNP labor wing leader, sustained injuries. The clashes followed a protest march by activists of a banned organization, the Chhatra League, on Friday, which was met with counter-protests by the BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami on Saturday.
