Born in Franca in 1874, she married businessman Francisco Maximiano Junqueira and moved to Ribeirão Preto in 1912. After her husband's death in 1938, she took over the family's assets and expanded their charitable work. Her legacy includes the establishment of the Educandário Coronel Quito Junqueira, which evolved into an educational institution, and the Fundação Sinhá Junqueira, founded in 1950 to support projects in education, culture, and health.
