Esportistas de kitesurf foram resgatados em alto mar. Reprodução / Graesp Bombeiros e agentes do Grupamento Aéreo de Segurança Pública (Graesp) resgataram dois praticantes de kitesurf à deriva em Salinópolis, no litoral do Pará. O caso foi divulgado neste sábado (6). Os esportistas, dois homens (um de 39 anos e 43 anos), praticavam a modalidade nas proximidades do posto 1 da praia do Atalaia quando perderam a sustentação das pipas. Two kitesurfers were rescued at sea off the coast of Salinópolis, Pará, after losing control of their equipment. The men, aged 39 and 43, were practicing near Atalaia beach when strong currents carried them away from shore. A helicopter from the Public Security Aerial Group (Graesp) quickly located the individuals, and rescue personnel used a jet ski to bring them safely back to land. Both kitesurfers were unharmed and their equipment was also recovered.
This incident highlights the importance of safety equipment and swift rescue operations when participating in water sports in potentially hazardous conditions.
