The "Marinete do Forró" tourist bus has resumed its popular "Forrozeando por Aracaju" tours for 2026, offering a cultural journey through the city's landmarks. This 25-year-old tradition combines sightseeing with the vibrant spirit of the São João festivities. The route includes stops at the Atalaia Boardwalk arches, the 13 de Julho viewpoint overlooking the Sergipe River, the Largo da Gente Sergipana to explore local identity, and the Chica Chaves Handicraft Center. The experience culminates on Rua São João with traditional quadrilha performances, forró music, and local food vendors. Additional integration with the "Descubra Aracaju" project is available on Sundays.
This initiative revitalizes local tourism and preserves cultural traditions by offering an engaging and immersive experience for both residents and visitors.
