Belém is hosting a special Navy Week from June 5th to 9th to commemorate Navy Day and the historical Battle of Riachuelo. The events, open to the public, feature free ship tours at the Estação das Docas, including the Corveta "Solimões" and the Aviso Hidroceanográfico "Rio Tocantins." Additionally, a Navy Race is scheduled for Sunday, June 7th, followed by a civic-military ceremony on June 9th. The Battle of Riachuelo, a decisive conflict in the War of the Triple Alliance, is celebrated annually by the Brazilian Navy.
