Authorities in São José dos Campos have apprehended a 26-year-old man in connection with the murder of a Chinese merchant. The suspect, identified as Lucas Bezerra da Silva, was taken into custody by municipal guards on Thursday evening. He was reportedly sought by the justice system with an active temporary arrest warrant. The victim, 55-year-old Yunsheng Chen, was fatally shot in November of the previous year outside his market.
