কুমিল্লায় বাসের চাপায় অটোরিকশার তিন যাত্রী নিহত

In Sadar South Upazila of Cumilla, three passengers of a battery-powered auto-rickshaw were killed when a passenger bus ran them over. Two others sustained serious injuries in the incident. The accident occurred on the Cumilla-Noakhali regional highway on Saturday evening, near Ratanpur Cold Storage. According to police and local sources, the bus, named Shahali Super, was traveling towards Cumilla and collided with the auto-rickshaw that was coming from the wrong direction. Three passengers died instantly at the scene, while the auto-rickshaw driver and another individual were critically injured. The deceased were day laborers from Rangpur and Dinajpur, who worked at a local labor market. The bus driver and his assistant fled the scene after the accident.

This incident highlights the dangers of reckless driving and the vulnerability of informal laborers to traffic accidents.
