Two months have passed since a de facto ceasefire between Iran and the United States. Since April 8th, when the two sides agreed to a two-week truce, neither an agreement to extend the ceasefire nor a resumption of hostilities has occurred, despite direct and indirect negotiations. Both nations are now engaged in what President Trump described as a "tango dance."
This ongoing stalemate raises questions about the future stability of relations between Iran and the United States.
