Voters in six Italian provincial capitals are heading to the polls for runoff elections today and tomorrow. These municipalities, including Agrigento, Arezzo, Chieti, Lecco, Macerata, and Trani, are among the 42 cities that did not see a clear winner in the initial administrative elections held on May 24th and 25th. Polling stations are open from 7 AM to 11 PM today and will reopen from 7 AM to 3 PM tomorrow.
The outcome of these local elections will determine the leadership of these important cities for the next five years.
