পল্লবীতে ধর্ষণের পর শিশুহত্যায় দুই আসামির মৃত্যুদণ্ড

A Dhaka court has sentenced two individuals, Sohail Rana and his wife Swapna Akter, to death for the brutal rape and murder of an eight-year-old child in Pallabi. The court also imposed fines on the convicts, Tk 5 lakh on Sohail Rana and Tk 2 lakh on Swapna Akter. The verdict was delivered by Judge Masrur Salekin of the Dhaka Metropolitan Special Tribunal for the Prevention of Violence Against Women and Children. The incident, which involved the discovery of the child's dismembered body, occurred on May 19th, with the rapid conclusion of the trial and sentencing within 19 days.
