মেহেরপুর সীমান্তে থাকা ছয়জনকে ফিরিয়ে নিল বিএসএফ
মেহেরপুরের গাংনী উপজেলার তেঁতুলবাড়িয়া সীমান্তে ভারতীয় সীমান্তরক্ষী বাহিনীর (বিএসএফ) পুশইন চেষ্টার শিকার দুই পরিবারের ছয় সদস্যকে ভারতের ভেতরে ফিরিয়ে নেওয়া হয়েছে। গতকাল শনিবার দিবাগত রাত তিনটার পর বিএসএফ তাঁদের সীমান্ত এলাকা থেকে নিজেদের হেফাজতে নিয়ে যায়। স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা গেছে, গতকাল ভোরে তেঁতুলবাড়িয়া সীমান্তে ভারত থেকে অবৈধভাবে সাতজনকে বাংলাদেশে ঠেলে দেওয়ার (পুশইন) চেষ্টা করে বিএসএফ। এ সময় বিজিবি ও স্থানীয় গ্রামবাসীর তীব্র প্রতিরোধের মুখে বিএসএফের সেই চেষ্টা ব্যর্থ হয়। ফলে
