The company aims to bridge the accessibility gap for these essential products among the elderly. With nearly half of the adult population needing dentures but only a fraction having access to services, Haleon sees significant long-term growth potential in this segment. The company has launched the 'Bersamamu Senyuman Dikembalikan' campaign to raise awareness and provide support for denture care and holistic oral health, focusing on individuals aged 50 and above who have lost all their teeth and face financial barriers. This initiative will provide free dentures, care kits, and educational resources to 240 recipients in Malaysia, in collaboration with dental institutions and retail partners.
The increasing elderly population necessitates greater access to specialized oral care solutions like dentures, highlighting a significant unmet need and market opportunity.
