Δυο ισχυροί σεισμοί με πολύ μικρή χρονική διαφορά μεταξύ τους ταρακούνησαν την Εύβοια ενώ έγιναν αισθητοί και στην Αττική . Σεισμική δόνηση 5,2 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ σημειώθηκε στις 13:02 το μεσημέρι με εστιακό βάθος 13, 1 χλμ. με επίκεντρο 5 χλμ. νοτιοδυτικά του Προκοπίο
