Ten individuals, including women and children, have been stranded in the no-man's-land between Bangladesh and India for nearly 59 hours following an alleged push-in attempt by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at the Panchgarh border. The group, consisting of five men, two women, and three children, has been exposed to intense heat, rain, and waterlogged conditions since Friday dawn, unable to cross into either country due to strict border surveillance by Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB). Despite two flag meetings held between BGB and BSF commanders at company and battalion levels, no resolution has been reached. Local residents have expressed deep concern for the stranded individuals, particularly the children, calling on both governments to urgently resolve the situation.

This incident highlights the humanitarian crisis created by border push-in practices and the urgent need for diplomatic intervention to prevent further suffering of vulnerable populations caught between national boundaries.
