Μήνυμα προς τους ιδιοκτήτες οικοπέδων απηύθυνε ο υφυπουργός Κλιματικής Κρίσης και Πολιτικής Προστασίας μέσα από την εκπομπή «10′ με τόνο» , τονίζοντας την ανάγκη για έγκαιρο καθαρισμό των οικοπέδων ενόψει της αντιπυρικής περιόδου. Owners of undeveloped land must clear their properties by June 15th, according to Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Kostas Katsafados. Failure to comply will result in fines issued by municipalities and forwarded to the tax authorities (AADE). Municipalities also have the authority to intervene proactively if a property poses a fire risk. The ministry stressed that there will be no extension to the deadline, emphasizing the importance of this measure for fire prevention.
