United International University (UIU) honored its Mars Rover team for securing third place in the prestigious University Rover Challenge (URC) 2026, organized by The Mars Society in the USA. The team was welcomed with a red carpet ceremony, followed by a press conference detailing their achievement. This accomplishment builds on years of international success, including their rover 'Axios' ranking sixth globally in 2025 and being recognized as the top Asian team for four consecutive years. The team also received the 'Best Scientist Team' award in 2025, becoming the first Asian team to do so.

This achievement highlights Bangladesh's growing technological prowess on the international stage and inspires future innovation in the country's higher education sector.
