Proiect depus în Parlament pentru ca foștii colaboratori ai securității și cei condamnați definitiv să rămână fără ordine și medalii
Foştii colaboratori ai Securităţii şi persoanele condamnate definitiv la închisoare ar putea pierde ordinele şi medaliile primite din partea statului român, potrivit unui proiect de lege depus de USR la Senat. Propunerea legislativă prevede ca deţinătorii unor astfel de distincţii să declare, în termen de trei luni de la intrarea în vigoare a legii, dacă au avut sau nu calitatea de lucrător sau colaborator al fostei Securităţi.
A new legislative proposal has been submitted to the Romanian Senate by the USR party, aiming to revoke state orders and medals from former Securitate collaborators and individuals with final prison sentences. The bill mandates that recipients of such honors must declare within three months of the law's enactment whether they worked with or collaborated for the former secret police. This measure seeks to ensure that state distinctions are not held by those who previously served the Securitate or have been convicted of crimes.
