বিশ্বকাপ ফুটবল দেখাতে খরচ হবে ৭৩ কোটি টাকা, গতবারের চেয়ে কমল ২৫ কোটি
ফুটবলের নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থা ফিফা থেকে এবারের বিশ্বকাপ ফুটবল ম্যাচ দেখানোর সম্প্রচারস্বত্ব কিনছে সরকার। ফিফা থেকে কোনো দরপত্র ছাড়া অর্থাৎ সরাসরি ক্রয় পদ্ধতিতে (ডিপিএম) বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশনের (বিটিভি) জন্য এ স্বত্ব কেনা হচ্ছে। এতে মোট খরচ হচ্ছে ৭২ কোটি ৭০ লাখ টাকা। আগেরবারের চেয়ে এবার খরচ কমল ২৫ কোটি টাকা। আজ রোববার জাতীয় সংসদের মন্ত্রিসভা কক্ষে অর্থনৈতিক বিষয়–সংক্রান্ত মন্ত্রিসভা কমিটির বৈঠকে প্রথমে বিষয়টির নীতিগত অনুমোদন হয়। এরপর সরকারি ক্রয়সংক্রান্ত মন্ত্রিসভা কমিটির বৈঠকে ফিফা থে
The Bangladesh government has approved the direct purchase of broadcasting rights for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. The state-run Bangladesh Television (BTV) will air all matches, with the total cost amounting to 727 million Bangladeshi Taka. This expenditure represents a significant reduction of 250 million Taka compared to the previous World Cup's broadcasting rights acquisition. The tournament, the 23rd edition of the World Cup, is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
This decision ensures that the public can watch the prestigious global football event on national television without additional subscription costs.
