UGent test veiligheidssensor voor het eerst in echte wedstrijd: "Veiligheid voor de renners, geruststelling voor de ouders"
Onderzoekers van de Universiteit Gent hebben voor het eerst hun digitale veiligheidssensor RouBack in een echte wielerwedstrijd getest. Op de Altebra Muurclassic Junioren in Geraardsbergen droegen alle 138 deelnemers de sensor, ontwikkeld aan UGent IDLab, na meer dan 6 jaar onderzoek.
