A man has died from drowning in Paracatu, Minas Gerais, in a location known as the DER lagoon. Firefighters found the victim, whose identity has not been released, already out of the water and without vital signs. Witnesses reported that the man had entered the lagoon to escape a swarm of bees that was attacking him. He was reportedly in an area about three meters deep when the incident occurred. The body, which showed numerous bee stings, was removed by a funeral home for further investigation.
