‘ইংরেজি ভাষা শিক্ষা’ যখন পড়ালেখার বিষয়
ক্যাম্পাস সেন্টারের দোতলায় বসে কাজ করছি। সামনে ফাইনাল। তাই দিনরাত এক করে ল্যাপটপের সামনে বসে থাকতে হচ্ছে। এবারের কোর্স পেপারটা আমার খুব কাছের। কেননা, বিষয় হিসেবে নিয়েছি ‘বাংলাদেশে ইংরেজি ভাষা শিক্ষার নীতিমালা’। একটু বড় পরিসরে, আবার খুব কাছ থেকে—দুভাবেই দেখার চেষ্টা করছি। কাজ করতে করতে মাঝেমধ্যেই চোখ চলে যায় জানালার দিকে, সামনে বিশাল আটলান্টিক। দূরদূরান্তের জাহাজ কিংবা আকাশে উড়ে যাওয়া বিমানের দিকে তাকালে মনে পড়ে যায়, একদিন আমিও ৮ হাজার মাইল পাড়ি দিয়ে এখানে এসেছিলাম। এখন পিএইচড
