The incident occurred on Friday in a rural mining area after the victim questioned the disappearance of food from his residence. The assailant, a man hired for yard work, allegedly attacked the groundskeeper during an argument, striking him in the chest and left arm before fleeing into the woods. Emergency services, including the military police and SAMU, had to trek three kilometers to reach the victim due to the remote location. The groundskeeper was transported to Alto Alegre Hospital, and the case is being investigated as attempted homicide.
