Surendra Awasthi has been elected as the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Dadeldhura. A nine-member district committee has been formed under his leadership following the party's first district convention. While efforts were made for a consensus during the convention, disagreements arose for the positions of vice-chairman and secretary. Consequently, elections were held for these two roles, resulting in Madan Dhami being elected as vice-chairman and Tank Awasthi as secretary.
