Police in Pinheiral, Rio de Janeiro, apprehended three men on Sunday morning during a patrol in the Cruzeiro neighborhood. Officers observed one suspect, aged 29, distributing what appeared to be drugs. When approached, another individual, 28, fled into a nearby house with a backpack. A third man, 30, admitted to being at the location to purchase narcotics.
Following a search of the residence, authorities discovered a backpack on the roof containing a significant quantity of cocaine, marijuana, crack, skank, and ice. Also seized were cash, ammunition, a magazine, communication radios, and caltrops. The detainees and confiscated items were taken to the local police station.
The operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and organized crime in the region, resulting in the seizure of illicit substances and related paraphernalia.
