ঢাকাসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে ভূমিকম্প অনুভূত হয়েছে। আজ রোববার রাত ১১টা ৩৬ মিনিটে এই ভূমিকম্প হয়। তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে এতে ক্ষয়ক্ষতির খবর পাওয়া যায়নি। অ্যানড্রয়েড আর্থকোয়েক অ্যালার্ট সিস্টেমের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, ভুটানের পুনাখার ৫ কিলোমিটার দূরে এই ভূমিকম্পের উৎপত্তি। রিখটার স্কেলে এর মাত্রা ছিল ৫ দশমিক ৩। ভূম্পিকম্পে ভুটান, বাংলাদেশের পাশাপাশি ভারত ও চীনেও কম্পন হয়েছে।
A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale, was felt across Bangladesh, including Dhaka, late Sunday night. The tremor originated near Punakha, Bhutan, approximately 5 kilometers deep. Initial reports indicate no immediate damage or casualties from the earthquake, which occurred around 11:36 PM. The seismic activity was also reportedly felt in parts of India and China.
