A fatal collision involving three semi-trucks occurred on Sunday morning on BR-251 in Francisco Sá, northern Minas Gerais. The accident, which happened near kilometer 460, resulted in the death of one driver and injuries to another. One truck, carrying e-commerce packages, reportedly lost control and collided with two oncoming trucks. The driver of the truck that lost control, a 47-year-old man, was found deceased at the scene after becoming trapped in the wreckage. Another driver, aged 62, who was transporting salt, sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The third truck, carrying fruit, had a driver who was unharmed. Traffic was completely blocked for a period while emergency services attended to the scene, conducted the extrication, and cleared the roadway. The Federal Highway Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
