Tragically, a 30-year-old motorcyclist and his female passenger lost their lives in a fatal crash on Sunday morning along the MG-452 highway in Oliveira Fortes. The incident occurred around 6:50 AM near kilometer 27 when the motorcycle, traveling towards BR-040, veered off the road during a sharp right turn. The driver reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to collide head-on with a tree on the left side of the road. Both individuals were ejected from the motorcycle due to the impact, and emergency medical services pronounced them deceased at the scene. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
