Hungary has spent over 2.3 billion forints to store ventilators that have never been used. The government initially purchased these devices for 300 billion forints. Despite the significant expenditure on acquisition and subsequent storage, the ventilators remain unused.

This situation raises questions about the efficiency of public spending and the necessity of such large-scale acquisitions that do not serve their intended purpose.
