Οι ποδοσφαιριστές της Εθνικής Ελλάδας και Ιταλίας βρέθηκαν στο κέντρο του γηπέδου για να τιμήσουν την μνήμη του Μάριου Οικονόμου , ο οποίος έχασε την ζωή του στην ηλικία των 33 ετών. Ο άτυχος ποδοσφαιριστής αγωνίστηκε και στις δύο χώρες στην καριέρα του, με τους διεθνείς παίκτες να τιμούν την μνήμη του πριν την έναρξη του μεταξύ τους φιλικού αγώνα.
A moment of silence was observed before the Greece-Italy friendly match to honor the memory of Marios Oikonomou. Players from both national teams gathered at the center of the field to pay tribute to the former footballer. Oikonomou tragically passed away at the age of 33. His career included playing for teams in both Greece and Italy.
This gesture highlights the camaraderie and respect within the football community, transcending national rivalries.
