জামিন পেলেও কারাগার থেকে মুক্তি পাননি অধ্যাপক আবুল বারকাত
দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশনের (দুদক) মামলায় গ্রেপ্তার অর্থনীতিবিদ ও জনতা ব্যাংকের সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান অধ্যাপক আবুল বারকাত জামিন পেয়েছেন। রোববার আপিল বিভাগ থেকে তিনি জামিন পান। তবে জামিন পেলেও কারাগার থেকে মুক্তি পাননি তিনি। তাঁর পারিবারিক একটি সূত্র বলছে, ঢাকার নিউমার্কেট থানার একটি বিস্ফোরক আইনের পুরোনো মামলায় অধ্যাপক আবুল বারকাতকে গ্রেপ্তার দেখানো হয়েছে বলে কারাগার কর্তৃপক্ষ তাঁদের জানিয়েছে। আবুল বারকাতের মেয়ে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অর্থনীতি বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক অরনি বারকাত রাতে প্রথম
