Two individuals, Marcos Vinicius Pereira Arruda, 22, and Joseane Nunes da Silva, 43, were fatally shot in Nova Andradina, Mato Grosso do Sul, early Sunday morning. The victims were part of a group gathered outside a residence when two assailants on a black motorcycle arrived. The passenger of the motorcycle reportedly dismounted and opened fire on the group, with Joseane sustaining four gunshot wounds and Marcos three.
Emergency services transported both victims to the Regional Hospital, but they succumbed to their injuries shortly after arrival. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, classifying it as intentional homicide and firearm discharge, with no suspects apprehended as of the report's publication.
