Suvarna Rokaha Chhetri has been elected as the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Gorkha. Chhetri secured 177 votes in the first district convention held on Sunday, defeating his rival Dhruv Adhikari, who received 105 votes. A total of 285 votes were cast in the election. Suk Bahadur Tamang was also elected as the vice-chairman with 169 votes.
This election marks a significant step in the organizational development of the Rastriya Swatantra Party in the Gorkha district.
