Uganda: Entebbe Teachers Trained On Use of Walimu App to Ease Access to Sacco Loans
[Nile Post] A total of 150 teachers in government schools in Entebbe Municipality have been trained on how to use the Walimu App to access Walimu SACCO loans directly through their smartphones. The digital training programme was organized by Entebbe Municipal Council in partnership with Walimu Cooperative Union Ltd.
One hundred fifty educators from Entebbe's government schools have received training on a new digital platform. The Walimu App allows teachers to apply for loans from the Walimu SACCO directly via their mobile phones. This initiative aims to simplify the loan application process for educators in the region. The training was a collaborative effort between the Entebbe Municipal Council and Walimu Cooperative Union Ltd.
