मतदाता सूची में अब विदेशी घुसपैठियों पर भी नजर, EC ने BLO को दिए नए निर्देश

The Election Commission has issued new directives to Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the voter list revision process. BLOs are now tasked with identifying and reporting any suspected foreign nationals whose presence on the electoral rolls is deemed questionable. If a case raises suspicion after initial verification, it will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities under the Citizenship Act.

This measure aims to enhance the accuracy and integrity of voter lists by ensuring only eligible citizens are included.
