(검찰이) 사건을 만들고 증거를 조작하고 기소해서 괴롭히고, 국가가 이러면 안 된다”라며 “다시는 재발하지 않았으면 하는 걱정들이 국민들 속에 있는 것”이라고 말했다. 이어 “참 슬픈 일이다. 일정한 선을 넘지 말아야 하는데 검찰이 그 선을 너무 많이 넘어버려서, 너무 많이 망가뜨렸다”라며 “업보라고 생각한다. 어쨌든 국회에 맡길 생각”이라고 덧붙였다.
