Na Japonskem zaradi medveda zaprli skoraj sto šol
Policija in lovci v Ucunomiji, približno sto kilometrov severno od Tokia, nadaljujejo iskanje živali, ki je navadno ne opazijo tako blizu prestolnica.
Authorities in Utsunomiya, located roughly 100 kilometers north of Tokyo, have implemented emergency measures following sightings of a wild bear in the vicinity. As a precautionary step to ensure student safety, nearly 100 educational institutions in the area were forced to suspend operations. Local law enforcement and specialized hunting teams are currently conducting a coordinated search to locate the animal. While bear sightings can occur in rural parts of Japan, their presence in such proximity to the capital remains highly unusual. Officials have urged residents to remain vigilant until the situation is resolved and the animal is no longer considered a threat.
The incident highlights the growing challenge of managing wildlife encounters as animals increasingly venture into populated urban and suburban areas in Japan.
