New location and theme for season’s last Fork Food Market
The summer season may be just beginning but for Nicosia’s popular Fork Food Markets, it is coming to an end. For its final event of the summer, it teams up with Telethon to support its mission to help patients and families affected by neurological and other degenerative disorders through care and research programmes. Nicosia’s Fork Food Market is set to host its final summer event on June 12 at the Old GSP Square. This concluding gathering will feature eight diverse food vendors, a selection of beverages, and entertainment for children. To mark the occasion, the Time Surfers Party Band is scheduled to perform live music from 9:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. The event will also introduce a reusable cup initiative to promote sustainability, with proceeds benefiting charity. Attendees are asked to provide a €3 donation at the entrance to support the Telethon organization, which funds research and care for those with neurological disorders. Admission remains free for all guests under the age of 18.
The event highlights how local community gatherings can effectively leverage public engagement to raise significant funds and awareness for medical research and patient support.
