Elena Pantazidou has been named the company's new Chief People Officer, effective June 1, 2026, and will join the Management Board to oversee this unified strategy. Pantazidou, a long-term veteran of the firm, will continue to manage sustainability and communications while integrating the marine workforce into her portfolio. To support this transition, Sofronis Theodosiou has been appointed as the Group HR Marine Director, where he will focus on fleet employment conditions and personnel planning. This leadership change follows the departure of the outgoing Chief People Officer, Bjoern Sprotte, who is stepping down from his role at the company.
