Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has officially dismissed these findings, asserting that the organization relies solely on media reports rather than conducting independent investigations. According to the Minister, the data presented by TIB lacks the rigorous verification required for an official government assessment. He emphasized that the statistics do not reflect actual investigative outcomes or verified law enforcement records. Consequently, the government has distanced itself from the validity of the claims made in the TIB briefing.
