Authorities allege that the suspect facilitated the sale of fire-damaged timber to six private companies at significantly reduced rates. Between February 2023 and May 2024, the official reportedly signed eight contracts using an outdated 2014 price list instead of the current 2022 regulations. This unauthorized action resulted in a financial loss for the state-owned company totaling over 32,500 euros. By applying these lower rates, the former director provided an illicit financial advantage to the involved private firms.
