Bathroom Placement Problems: Bathrooms opening directly into work areas or near desks/kitchenettes cause noise and odor distractions; transitional space or separate hallways are essential. Visible Surveillance: Glass walls from the owner’s office looking onto workstations make employees feel constantly watched. Imbalanced Space Allocation: Giving the owner a disproportionately large private office while cramming employees negatively impacts morale and comfort.
