Students of Sarvajna and Justice Shivraj Patil Independent Pre-University Science College, Kalaburagi, have delivered an impressive performance in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) with four students securing ranks within the top 1,000 and several others obtaining commendable ranks in various professional streams.

Leading the college’s performance is Sakshi Shivanand who secured the 146th State rank in Agriculture. Annapurna Eerannagouda secured the 404th rank in Veterinary Sciences, while Pavitra Mallannagouda obtained the 574th rank in the same stream. Yashraj secured the 850th rank in Engineering, making him one of the college’s top achievers this year.

The other notable performers include Sunita (D.Pharma 1,934th rank), Chandrakant Reddy (Engineering, 1,366; Agriculture, 1,990), Sagar S. (Engineering, 2,033; Agriculture, 2,116), Basayya (D.Pharma, 3,490), Harish Kattimani (D.Pharma, 4,366), Gauri Vinay (D.Pharma, 5,411), Yashwant Reddy (Engineering, 7,142), Deeksha (D.Pharma, 7,420), Adarsh (Agriculture, 8,874), Sandeep (Agriculture, 9,613), Sheikh Shameem (Engineering, 10,375), Chandrakala (Engineering, 13,161), Prajwal Jadhav (Engineering, 13,573) and Bandappa Gowda (Engineering, 13,685th rank).

Expressing happiness over his achievement, Yashraj said that the competitive coaching provided by IITian Abhishek Channareddy Patil and the continuous guidance of the college’s experienced KCET and JEE faculty played a crucial role in his success in both JEE Advanced and KCET examinations.

Chief Academic Director and IITian Abhishek Channareddy Patil attributed the success to the hard work of students, the dedicated efforts of faculty members and the guidance and inspiration of the former Supreme Court judge Shivraj V. Patil.
