Sana Satish Babu, Bhashyam Ramakrishna and Chintakayala Vijay filed their nominations as the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections on Monday. They submitted their nomination papers to Returning Officer R. Vanitha Rani at the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

Leaders of the alliance partners, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jana Sena Party (JSP), participated in the nomination process and signed the papers as proposers.

Of the four Rajya Sabha seats from Andhra Pradesh that are scheduled to go to polls on June 18, the TDP has fielded candidates for three seats and allotted one seat to the JSP. Businessman Lingamaneni Ramesh has already filed his nomination as the JSP candidate.
