Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu speaking at the ‘Mee Bhoomi–Mee Hakku’ programme held at Siddhantham in Achanta constituency of West Godavari district on Monday.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday demanded an apology from former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for failing to substantiate allegations of irregularities in the DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process.

Addressing a gathering during the ‘Mee Bhumi–Mee Hakku’ programme, Mr. Naidu said officials had responded to every allegation raised by the YSR Congress Party and clarified doubts regarding the recruitment process.

“Officials have addressed every claim made by the YSR Congress Party on DSC-2025 recruitment and clarified the concerns raised. If the YSR Congress Party wishes to survive as a political party, Mr. Jagan should apologise to the State government and unemployed youth,” he said.

Last week, Mr. Jagan met DSC-2025 aspirants and alleged irregularities in the implementation of reservation norms in the recruitment process, citing various cases.

Mr. Naidu dismissed the allegations, stating that those unfamiliar with the existing reservation system and its implementation were making baseless claims about the recruitment exercise.

“We have filled 16,000 teacher posts, whereas Mr. Jagan failed to provide a job calendar for the unemployed during his tenure,” he said.

Referring to aquaculture, Mr. Naidu announced that the government would introduce measures to promote the sector and address the rising cost of aqua feed.

Expressing concern over groundwater pollution allegedly caused by aquaculture activities in West Godavari district, he said the government aimed to provide safe drinking water to every household by 2029.

“Water will be drawn from the Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage at Dowleswaram and supplied across West Godavari district,” he said.

The Chief Minister also assured that existing roads
